Coding Sequence, 2021

In Coding Sequence, pictorial gesture and sculptural structure merge into an assemblage that translates organic flow into a visual language that feels almost digital. The work unfolds like an expanded organism, a “living code” oscillating between natural form and technological abstraction.
Layered, spray-painted plexiglass evokes circuits and diagrams, while at the center a cluster of amethyst quartz anchors the piece in the mineral world, connecting the cosmic to the terrestrial. The crystal formed over millions of years appears here as a “primordial server,” storing memory and charging a contemporary visual system with energy.
The work crystallizes the artist’s pursuit of a language bridging the ancestral and the futuristic: a code not read linearly but experienced through the interplay of materials, colors, and vibrations. Like a portal, the piece proposes passage between dimensions data and myth, pigment and crystal, human eye and algorithm.
Within the trajectory of the practice, Coding Sequence marks a key stage of formal experimentation that precedes the monumental portals: a rehearsal in expanded geometry and the integration of natural elements. At this scale, the piece operates as a laboratory, coding intuition into a tangible, vibrant form.
