Like a visible gust of wind, Portal de Aire captures the
fleeting power of air in motion. Its aluminum structure,
rising nearly three meters high, unfolds in sinuous curves
that evoke whirlwinds and ascending spirals.
The work generates an illusion of lightness that contrasts
with the solidity of the material and the monumentality of its scale. Illuminated at night, its contours transform into a
spectral presence, turning metal into a gesture of pure
movement.
Portal de Aire functions as a suspended threshold: turbulence frozen in time, an ephemeral passage made permanent in sculptural form.
