This collection emerged in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, as a shift toward a more intimate and personal scale within my practice. Each piece begins as a hand drawing, later digitized in AutoCAD, translated into laser-cut layers, assembled, and finished with spraypaint. Visually, the work unfolds as a dense, layered composition where organic curves intersect with modular, pixel like elements.
Deep purples, greens, and earthy browns are punctuated by saturated accents, creating a sense of depth and internal movement, almost like a living system or a diagram of energy in flux. The wooden perimeter frames the piece as an object, while the interior forms suggest a hybrid between anatomy, circuitry, and symbolic architecture. Alongside the physical artwork, each piece is accompanied by a tokenized MP4 video showing the work “appearing” in the world, reinforcing a deliberate tension: the physical object carries a digital aesthetic, while the digital counterpart inhabits physical space. Together, the sculpture and its tokenized video function as a single artwork an exploration of presence, translation, and the porous boundary between material and virtual realities.
