ST.3FENIX rises above the viewer as an artificial firmament, a suspended field of mineral matter, color, and light. Measuring 3 by 3 meters and installed overhead, the work transforms the exhibition space into an immersive environment, drawing the audience into an upward gaze that activates the entire spatial field.
Industrial materials such as marble and fiberglass converge with traditional Wixárika fiber work, generating a layered cosmology where ancestral craft and contemporary fabrication intersect. Light moves through the composition, binding fragments into a dynamic system in which matter appears in constant transformation.
ST.3FENIX operates as a suspended structure that reorganizes perception, redefining how space is occupied and experienced within the exhibition context.
As a suspended environment, ST.3FENIX prefigures later larg scale works such as NEXARION, expanding the notion of sculpture into a spatial and architectural encounter.
