Stivnville belongs to an early stage of Esteban Huacuja’s practice, produced after his time in Florence studying public space design. The painting operates as a dense accumulation of scenes, symbols, and structures that form a self contained territory where the urban, the body, and the imagined coexist.

At its center, an architectural form references the Palazzo Vecchio, reinterpreted as a distorted and unstable structure within a fragmented system. The composition is built through layers of visual information, anticipating a later interest in saturation, hybrid languages, and world construction.

The work does not follow a linear narrative. Instead, it proposes an open field where multiple scales and registers interact.

This piece functions as a clear antecedent to Persistent LVL, later presented in ST_INMERSIÓN, where these early strategies evolve into more defined spatial and conceptual systems.

We all want to know
what the hell we’re doing here.
