Wall sculptures

The Portals series explores the intersection where digital perfection meets physical depth. The project began in late 2019 during the pandemic, forcing a shift to a more contained studio space where constraints sparked a new approach to downscaled, high-density production.

Moving entirely beyond traditional flat painting, each sculpture is built by physically stacking layers of high-grade plexiglass, aerosol gradients, and raw mineral inlays. The objective is to extract the sleek, pixel-perfect aesthetic of the digital screen and translate it into tactile reality, creating a physical depth that alters the viewer's visual perception depending on their angle.

Bridging both realities, select physical pieces feature a certified "Digital Twin" minted on OpenSea | Metaportals. These looping video artworks place the portal into diverse virtual environments around the world, fluidly returning the tangible object back into its original digital realm.
