Ofrenda | Radial Ceiling System

Developed in collaboration with Cuarzo Architecture Studio, Ofrenda was engineered as a monumental radial ceiling system of light integrated directly into the structural grid of the temple. Moving away from the concept of isolated ornamentation, the installation is forcefully embedded into the building’s anatomy through four cruciform skylights, effectively transforming the overhead plane into an active, luminous envelope.

Spanning an architectural volume of over 100 square meters, the system deploys a rigorous chromatic matrix of warm ambers, ochres, golds, and subtle crimson gradients. This palette was calculated to establish a material dialogue with the surrounding tectonic finishes, specifically interacting with the native onyx stonework details.The installation operates through a dual atmospheric cycle.
